Porter Guitars originally started in 2008 and began with chasing a dream to figure out how electric guitars worked after being inspired by hearing several blues guitarists. As the guitars started, the primary business –Porter Pickups– was born and took over the main focus for several years. 

The journey back into electric guitars started in 2016 with the development of a guitar line that would highlight the pickups and showcase unique and original designs. Each guitar is built in the same 3000 sq foot shop as the pickups featuring hand selected woods, high quality components and great attention to detail.
